Getting Started

Hello and welcome to my blog! 

First, a little bit about me. I am entering my second year of the Bachelor of Education After Degree at the University of Regina, I have a previous Bachelor of Arts Honours in English degree from the University of Saskatchewan, I'm a big Roughriders fan, I love to camp, I love to sing, and I'm an avid reader and podcast listener! Here is a photo of me at Convocation from my first degree.

I am starting this blog for my EDTC 300: Introduction to Educational Technology & Media class. I am excited to go on this learning journey, as I know there is a lot to learn regarding online teaching and networking possibilities. Although I have experience with some aspects of digital teaching, including familiarity with Twitter and some educational tools and websites, like Jamboard and Kahoot, I am excited to delve deeper into all the possibilities!

I'm also looking forward to blogging regularly. It's not something that I've done before, but I am already enjoying the challenge of learning the technical side of blogging and I think I will enjoy documenting my class reflections and learning journey over the next few weeks.
